Stock up on extra canning lids and rings from Walmart. During the Great Depression, they ran out of them, and when folks needed to can their meat and veggies, they had a HUGE dilemma! No way to can that meat! There were even fly by night companies making and selling them at RIDICULOUSLY HIGH PRICES, and the quality wasn't even there.

Great pantry! Love the chunky soup and rice combo. You got me thinking about buying things I don't normally buy to barter with. Thanks for sharing your tips and ideas :)

Pretty impressive, and one of the best organized I have seen. Good job.

Good job on the Rice, don't forget to rotate your stock of cans.  I really appreciate all of you people that show your stuff on You Tube. Yes we have more but that is not important, what is? You are making an effort to protect your family. You have a good start.

Good job! A word of advice if I may. Remember to put all acidity food in cans on the bottom... chili, spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, acidic fruits. They have a shorter shelf life and can make a big mess because the acid will eat through the can. You're welcome. :)

I started out with the more fun and exciting firearms and ammo.  Now I'm focusing on food.  I think it was Pastor Joe Fox, of VikingPreparedness that said "When the SHTF, you might not get into a single gunfight, but you will need to eat every day".  As always, thanks for your channel and vids.  Semper Fi

You are off to a running start; your preps look great. I would balance it out with some beans and some pasta. I say that only because I think you would like to diversify your starches. I love rice, but I am sure I would get burned out on it after a while. Before I started storing food, I had never cooked beans in my life. After cooking black beans, my wife and I have become Black Bean & Rice fans - super tasty. Pasta has a gazillion different recipes as well. Anyway, congrats to a fantastic start!
