Imagine if the Mario movie's entire cast had just been the ISAIP cast. Rob McElhenney as Mario, Kaitlin Olson as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Glenn Howerton as Bowser, and Danny DeVito as DK. Oh, and David Hornsby as Toad. Don't ask me about Kamek, Cranky Kong, or Spike yet – I haven't thought that far ahead.

I can't wait to hear his Brooklyn voice. He is gonna sound so much like Super Show Luigi. He might even be almost as good as Vinny from Vinesauce. Almost. Might be.

Another possible reason why Charlie Day was cast as Luigi could be that while Chris Meledandri was playing Smash Bros. (as Luigi), he noticed that Luigi's down taunt sort of reminded him of the scene from The Lego Movie where Benny introduces himself and starts building a spaceship, but everyone objects to that idea, so Benny kicks the spaceship and it crumbles into pieces. This is relevant because Charlie Day, the voice of Luigi in the Mario Movie, also voiced Benny in The Lego Movies.
