Even as a toddler, I've had an extraordinary interest in learning about fire protection and safety-related equipment. After years of saving coins, the day I received my first fire alarm will live infinitely within me. Little did I know, posting a few videos sharing my enthusiasm would turn into a whole hobby & career in fire protection, life safety, and emergency management. I think the alarms should flash at least 3-4 times before the siren goes off. It always makes me jump when they go off.

At my school one time, I had permission from my principal and my local fire department to conduct one of their scheduled fire drills. People thought I pulled it on purpose! But then after they heard what really happened, I became a legend over something small.
