Description
Hello and Welcome. My name is Will and I live along the foot of Utah's Wasatch Mountains, hence the channel name.
This channel is all about hiking, camping, and most of all: BACKPACKING. Much of my time spent doing these activities takes place in those same Wasatch Mountains where one can enjoy the Uinta National Forest and of course, the Uinta Mountains and High Uintas Wilderness Area where the Wasatch National Forest can be found. I also enjoy recreating throughout the rest of Utah and beyond. I like to document my trips, share the highlights along with some occasional low points, and of course the scenic wonders I'm fortunate to experience.
Tips & tricks for the great outdoors, gear reviews, and other topics relating to wilderness and backcountry experiences will also be featured on this channel. If you love hiking and backpacking then be sure to subscribe!
Inquiries regarding gear testing & feedback, and other related questions can be sent to my email address found below.

Great review! I use a BV500 pretty much all the time, as my “backyard” is Yosemite NP and surrounding areas. Ordered the Catalyst for horizontal can carry, but the pack was just too big overall (I’m switching to all UL equipment). Sent it back and now looking hard at the Circuit. I think a vertical can carry would work. Does the ULA hydration sleeve have some sort of loop to keep the bladder from falling down into the sleeve? Thanks! -Bill

Very well-done review. After deliberation, I switched to the Circut. I used it for a hard week long assignment releasing Ptarmigan in the Sangre de Cristo mtns. This pack is as you characterize, a real good jack-of-all-trades pack.

Good review . . . The pockets are said to be 400 cu. in. which is 6.55 liters but they dont look like even close to 400 cu.in. They look like the same size as the Zpacks Arc Haul which are 2.5L each or 152.5 cu.in. each

Great review! I am looking at getting either a Circuit or Catalyst and this really helped. I really liked the water bottle pouch idea when using the hip belt alone. What water bottle pouch is that you have slipped over the hip belt?
