Taylor...you are such a breath of fresh air...your enthusiasm is contagious....I am pulling for you everyday!

I have always waited to get tied up in the slip before slipping on the mainsail cover. Twice I lost the engine heading into the marina and very quickly had to raise the main to sail in. The extra minutes required to remove the cover in this situation can be the difference between trouble and good seamanship. Sailboats have a plan B to get back home. Motor boats do not unless you have really big paddles or you are lucky enough to hail a tow.

Proud of you kid, you can see how confident you are with your boat. All that time crewing for Bobby has paid off , go get em Captain !

If ever you find yourself again in a bosun seat at the top to retrieve a runaway halyard, tie it off to you seat and have it used as a safety line on your way down. A backup is always a good thing when any possibility of a failure will result in serious injury.

So proud of how you've grown learning on someone else's boat to working your own! Young people have more courage to take chances and gain life experiences to improve and enjoy themselves. I hope you continue to inspire all to have fun and be fearless! As well, I hope you keep progressing and being the best YOU that you can be. Good luck and enjoy your life! I'll be watching here and there and wishing you the best! Be safe

Good job getting your sail boat ready, out sailing, and then safely back home. Keep up the great work. Enjoy your journey. Love and Prayers to you.

i've lived in a van, played guitar and loved being about boats... i don't consider it an alternative.. it's just my lifestyle :) We are lucky to be different , saw La la on Nanji , love their channel too... if it wasn't for you, bobby and sailing Nanji... i'd be bored or feeling odd most evenings! Makes me feel normal seeing others live the life i love thanks for doing it x

Sometimes Taylor it just happens..but now you've learned an expensive lesson but you looked like you had fun losing it. And the wiser.Be careful girl.and may the wind be on your back. You and your family stay safe.

Congrats on your first sail of the season! You should consider attaching your main halyard and taking off your sail cover before leaving your slip. Leave the sail ties on until ready to raise the main. When returning, leave the cover off until you are back in the slip. It’s a safety thing. If your engine dies coming or going, you will be able to quickly raise the main and have a better chance of controlling your engineless boat.

That overhead shot of you leaving the dock is so rad! Thanks for sharing your adventures! Fair winds, etc.
